A #BBC TO WARM YOUR LONELY NIGHTS [BEST BANANA CAKE]

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

WHO CAN RESIST ONE?! On my lonely nights, I crave for a #BBC. Nothing better than having a huge mouthful of it, lovin' every inch of it, work it in my mouth and let it ooze...never fail to satisfy me baby.

Let the melty chocolate chips ooze. Chill guys, chill. Maybe this recipe can join my black-like-my-heart series? But this was not made with dark cocoa powder, so definitely more friendly since you don't have to hunt for one.

ANYWAY I was hesitant in sharing this because this is really one of my favourite cakes to make and eat. & I was thinking what if I want to open a bakery next time and NOBODY WILL BUY MY CAKE because they can have their own #BBC at home?!? But it's okay, I will trust that sometimes you will still prefer me giving you my bbc ): AND SO IF I EVER OPEN MY BAKERY YOU ALL BETTER BUY THIS CAKE FROM ME STILL OK. IF YOU USE THIS RECIPE MEANS YOU AGREE TO STILL VISIT MY BAKERY IN FUTURE. HAHAHAHAHA. SAY IT. SAY IT IN YOUR HEART.

Okay good! Please proceed.

MY #BBC [BEST BANANA CAKE]

Makes 1 loaf

Dry ingredients

1 cup flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp sea salt

3 large bananas, mashed (~1.5 cup)

60g butter, melted and cooled

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 large egg

1 cup dark chocolate chips (divided)

Heat oven to 175'c

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk dry ingredients together and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, mashed bananas. Stir in melted butter and oil.

  3. Then, mix in sugar, egg and vanilla. Stir till smooth

  4. Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Don't overmix. Fold in 3/4 cup of chocolate chips

  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf tin and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips.

  6. Bake for 50 minutes.

This cake also freezes well and keep for 1-2 months in the freezer. Microwave to warm it up before eating.

WHAT I SECRETLY LIKE TO DO IS ACTUALLY BOOZE UP THE BANANAS BY ADDING RUM IN IT. HEHEHEHE.

OKAY. I FEEL SO RAW AFTER SHARING THIS RECIPE ):

I AM SO SELFLESS. LOLLLLL.
